Power line 1000 pick a plug icon not showing any colours
My power line 1000 adapter has lasted me for a few good weeks with good connection, but suddenly the “Pick-A-Plug” icon is not showing any colour, and my computer says unidentified network. Please hel...
Time for troubleshooting. Powerline is prone to interference from things like surger protectors, arc fault breakers, gfci outlets, cheap cell phone chargers, high draw motors, etc.
so you can try 2 different things.
1. Move the outlet to the same room as the based. start moving the plug outwards towards where you want it, monitoring your pick a plug color.
2. unplug other electronics. maybe something new your plugged in or something is going bad thats adding interference to the lines. Try unplugging stuff and slowly start adding them back in to see when the interference comes back.
3. a combination of these 2 can work.
