Powerline 1200 Adapter Problems
So ive been using powerline adapters, main modem is a few rooms away. I have a powerline hooked up to that modem, transmitting ethernet to the powerline in my room which is connected to my computer. ...
The lights are fine, they were professionally installed. Everything on the lights is fine, they are hooked up perfectly. Im going about 60 foot from my router.

I have my powerline adapter to the router. I dont have a wifi adapter on my computer because im using the ethernet from the powerline. The powerline is pluged into the wall into the back of my computer with ethernet cable.
I want a strong wired connection, but not sure how to do it. im not very tech savy, so I need help setting something up. I don't mind buying a whole new setup if thats what it will cost.
If it only happens when the lights are turned on, I'd inspecting them. Just my 2 cents.
A couple options available to you then if you can't fix the lights causing the powerline to drop.
1. Most current powerline devices use homeplug av2 spec. they're compatible but would all probably suffer from the same fate since they use the same spec. Never know for sure though so you could try a different company and see if your lights interfere.
2. Add a wireless adapter to your computer. Might be cheapest option.
3. Invest in a mesh network and place one satellite where your computer is so you can be wired.
Again, I'll reiterate that I'd get the lights inspected as turning them on is what creates the interference. Without fixing the wiring issues, most powerline adapters will fail. I can't say that 100% though
