Powerline adapters in different rings
Hi
I have just picked in the Two PLP1000s and have installed them. Since installing them WiFi in the notes distant parts of the house has gone backwards..
The first adapter is on an extension lead - the plug socket is in an awkward place - wired into the router via Ethernet cable.
The second has to go onto a secondary ring main.. we have an upstairs, downstairs and a kitchen ring main. The router is in a front room on the downstairs ring, so the extender has to go into the other parts of the house on a different ringmain where the WiFi needs a boost.
Should the extenders work on the secondary ring mains? If so what might I be doing wrong?
