powerline av500 + 1000

Hi,

I installed a set of netgear powerline 1000 + wifi devices today and want to combine them with my netgear powerline av500 + wifi but this does not seem to work...Should this be possible? The wifi light on the av500 is blue but devices say : no internet connection
