Hi liv2hunt, welcome to the community! Yes, that will work. However, it is recommended that the devices (extenders) are placed at an optimum distance between each other and work on the best wireless channel available to lessen wireless interference.

Dexter,
Thanks for the info. As I am sure you are aware, the PLW1010 works on two channels, 2.4 and 5GHZ. If I am correct, the 5ghz is less likely to penetrate walls etc and it is what I use inside the garage since I also belive it is a faster channel. That said, I will search for an outdoor model that is only 2.4GHZ (since I believe it is the channel with longest range also) and use that outside the building.
Does that sound like a good plan?

On another note, does the ethernet plug on the PLW1010 support POE? Most of the outdoor units that I am seeing are powered in that manner which makes perfect sense.
I do not see anything about POE in the manual for the PW1010.

Hi liv2hunt, yes, you are correct on the differences between the 2.4GHz and 5Ghz bands. You can check the links below for more info on the bands and channels.

The Ethernet port on the PLW1010 is not PoE compatible.
