Hi liv2hunt, welcome to the community! Yes, that will work. However, it is recommended that the devices (extenders) are placed at an optimum distance between each other and work on the best wireless channel available to lessen wireless interference.

Thanks for the info. As I am sure you are aware, the PLW1010 works on two channels, 2.4 and 5GHZ. If I am correct, the 5ghz is less likely to penetrate walls etc and it is what I use inside the garage since I also belive it is a faster channel. That said, I will search for an outdoor model that is only 2.4GHZ (since I believe it is the channel with longest range also) and use that outside the building.
Does that sound like a good plan?
