PS4 Not Recognizing Connection

I was sharing a signal with a neighbor of mine who moved out yesterday.
With her Xfinity signal, I was getting 200+ Mps download. So I need a new network.
There is an open/public Xfinity signal that my PS4 connects to, but at very low speeds.
With my extender, I am able to connect to to this public signal— both 2.4 and 5 ghz are bright green.
When I go to the PS4 internet setup menu after configuring the extender, my new network is the first one displayed.
After choosing my network, the PS4 “Times Out” trying to connect— it doesn’t recognize it.
Please tell me this is a simple fix!
Thank you

Your extender is in the same location as you so you're going to have a great connection going from it to your PS4. You'd need to log into your extender to check the connection going back to the xfinity hotspot.  And that doesn't take into account interference from other wifi networks. Have you went through any of the xfinity wifi faq?
