R6100 as Wireless Bridge
I'm looking to use my old R6100 to extend my wifi without using wires. I updated the firmwware to v1.0.1.28 and there is an option for Wireless Bridge. I want the R6100 to connect to my main router...
Wireless bridge is different than wireless repeater.
In bridge mode, it can connect to the router but it doesn't rebroadcast.
You can use it as a repeater but only if you disable wireless security or use WEP. I wouldn't go that route as its not secure but if you choose to, see the manual, page 88 for instructions.
