R6400 and Linksys EX2800
Trying to connect subject devices. Seems I may have DFS 5G Channel selection problem. Documentation is not clear. Anybody help me out?
Linksys extender set program sees 2.8G signal but does not see a 5G signal. Notes indicate that router may not be setup for DFS. Netgear documentation lists DFS channels but they do not show up in my drop down list. I am missing something.
My bad. It is a Linksys RE6700 Extender. (Old age is hell).
Router Firmware is V1.0.1.62_1.0.41
Extender Firmware unknown at moment. Never update that I know of.
The RE6700 should support the higher 5ghz bands.
have you tried the R6400 on the higher 5ghz channels?
