Hard wired and seamless? not really unless you want to buy a whole mesh system.
Reason why is that netgears "mesh" extenders don't run with smart roaming enabled if they're in AP mode. And that's what mode they'd need to be in if hardwired. And while you can add a standard access point, it isn't going to be as seamless as an actual mesh system.
The only good point to this is if you already have the ethernet ran, the dual band mesh systems work as good as the tribands with a wired backhaul. And they can be picked up pretty cheap renewed/refurbished. Almost as cheap as a R6700AX
