R7500 as an Extender?

I have a R7500v2 WI-FI router which I'd like to reuse (it was in a drawer): (I updated the firmware and Genie app to the latest last night.) as an Extender to Sagemcom Broadband wireless device...

Wired in AP mode is going to give you the best performance.

some features get disabled in ap mode.

Thank you. I guess 'bridge mode' is worse?
