Range extender and router asus computer

I cannot get my computer to get on the net I do not know if it is not recognizing the router or the extender or is the extender not recognixing the network or router

    You didn't really give us much. 

    1. what router model is it? 

    2. what extender is it? Is the extender new? did you just set it up? 

    3. do all devices have issues? Just one? 

    4. how is the computer connected? Wireless? Wired? Connected to the extender? connected to the router? 

    5. what gateway is the asus connected to?
