Range extender confusion
I am an user of Asus routers at the moment, AX86U+AC68U - both work in mesh network, and They work just fine, however there is very, very weird issue with my TV connection, not going to discuss it here - long story short - if I wont fix it I will change those routers into something else.
In my house single router would cover up to 80% of it, however there are 2 rooms where wifi is kind of bad, that's why I got AC68U and as they work in mesh I have seamless wifi connection everywhere - I am happy with that part. As previously I went through many, many range extenders etc. and they were terrible!
So now let's say am going to buy RAXE500 and the range will be too small.
1. I guess I cannot add any kind of netgear mesh extender because main router doesn't support it? Or maybe it will work?
2. If above is no, then is there any other way to get any other extender which will offer seamless wifi connection?
Cheers

why not just get a mesh sytem instead of using an extender?
Pickup something like the triband orbi (or quad) for your purposes.
Then you have the full coverage. In my opinion is much more stable than using a router + extender.
And I've tried both as I have the RAXE500 and EAX80.

So what about RAXE500 +EA80, will they manage device connection under mesh network or I will have to loose connection with one device to obtain signal from second node?
