range extender d7000v2
can the d7000v2 be used as a range extender (using wifi) and if so what are the settings to be used

Most modems can be used as an extender, ustilising your current router, connect an RJ45/ethernet/ADSL/Cat6 cable to your ethernet port on the back, then connect the other end to your D7000. You may need to configure your NAT, ie let your main rounter handle NAT and turn it off on the D7000. Also you can allow your D7000 to handle DHCP but you will need to assign a different IP address ie, your main router uses 192.168.1.1, your D7000 uses 10.0.0.1, alternatively tuen off DHCP on the D7000 and let your main router handle it.
