Range extender EX6100

I currently have a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 Smart WiFi Router model R7000.

I would like to hook up a Netgear WiFi Mesh Range Extender EX6100 to it.  Is the range extender compatable to this router?  Is thtere much diffculty setting it up?

    yes the EX6100 would be compatible with it and pretty easy to setup. 

    You can set it up via wps (push button) or using the installation wizard
