Range Extender(EXS25) Management When Extending Guest Network
I have an EXS25 set up to extend my Guest network and now that it's successfully joined I can not get access to view or manage its configuration via the Nighthawk app or browser. Is there a way to...

Can you elaborate on why it would not be transparent as It’s extending the same network using the same SSID and all ip control should be handled at the router level?

Currently I am only trying to extend my ‘primary’ WiFi network.

It's not possible substituting an Orbi Satellite by yet a random wireless extender.
This is not a random extender, it’s a NETGEAR product.
It would seem that NETGEAR supports this as they allow it, whether it’s recommended is a different question. I understand that adding an Orbi satellite would be ideal but in my case it’s an unnecessary expense as I have an outlying device that needs connection but is slightly outside of the reach of the Orbi router and a range extender should be a viable and cost effective solution.
The device does connect and does work it’s just how the NETGEAR hardware and firmware is handling or mishandling it.

While I can't see any show stoppers for extending your primary network.
What is not very logical on all newer Netgear Mesh extenders (starting from the EAX80) is the fact that the same Ethernet bridge does show up under different MAC adresses, specific to each radio involved, in the case if the dual WLAN system two addresses: Once for the 2.4GHz band, and once for the 5 GHz band - what can be extremely confusing nicely saying.
Don't have a conclusion yet, what does not work in your use case. Must have lost track in the discussion somehow here. Or are we facing some oddities on either the Nighthawk or the Orbi App - which are made for very direct usage each?
There is no word or indication your new EXS25 (or the in most aspects similar EXS18 or EXS27) should support Orbi and an additional guest network or a guest VLAN here ->
