The EX7000 is a pretty solid extender. You're not going to get more range with a different extender. You can get the option of a 3rd band but that isn't going to give you more range.
Problem many run into is exterior walls. they tend to be made from brick, concrete, metal siding, foil lined insulation, etc. These materials are much better at blocking wifi than what simple sheetrock/wood is.
many try different things like running an ethernet wire outdoors and connecting an extender. netgears airbridge for example has the option of power over ethernet and is outdoor rated. and it gets you past the exterior walls.
but it usually comes down to finding a decent way through the exterior walls for the home/shed.
