I have the RAX80 paired with the EAX80. I'm having the same exact issues as you with the EAX80. I turned it off and am using the EX8000 tri-band mesh extender instead for now until Netgear fixes the EAX80 issues. It's terrible.

    I'm having the same exact problem. What's the fix?  Is NetGear addressing this issue?

      Netgear is updating the fw. I have now their fifth beta since i reported. I am on L2 support. They seem focused to solve the problem.
