I purchased this extender back in July 2020. I've been having minor issues, but overall would just toggle between the two channels provided with this extender - 2G and 5G. More recently, within past two months neither has been working. I spoke with a NetGear tech approx week ago and device was reset. Less than a week and problems started again. I've been on the phone with NetGear for the last hour trying to get a replacement because I am still under warranty until July 2022. I have been transferred three times, only to end up back at the original tech support rep! I am LIVID! Save yourself the worry and find a better device with better customer support! The device isn't even two years old, I live alone so it's not being overutilized, and to add insult to injury I'm jumping through hoops to get the replacement that's owed. I will never purchase another NetGear product again!

    What Firmware version is loaded on the EX?
    What is the Mfr and model# of the main host router the NG extender is connected too?

    What is the distance between the main host router and the EX extender? 30 feet distance to begin with is recommended.

    what modem/gateway/router is the EX7000 connected to? 

    What method of setup did you use? WPS or using the installation assistant?
