WIFI extender

Our range extender works well after it is set up, but after a period of several hours, when we try to connect on both bands, 2.4.  And 5G, we get the message "no internet connection."  When we unplug...

We installed the extender just a few days ago.  

details help more than generals. When asked about modem/router when you say spectrum/ubee its like a mechanic asking which car you have and saying chevy. It doesn't help the situation as there's many models and each have their own issues.

    Did you install using the wps method? 

    Or using the installation wizard? 

    Have you given the extender a static ip address in the ubee?

      The WPS button on the router did't work, so I used the wizard.  

      No I haven't set a static IP address, and don't know how to.   Maybe that is the problem?
