If you set it up in mesh mode "one wifi" mode, it will.
If you're needing more than 1 extender, I'd recommend moving to an actual mesh system but if you're only needing 1 extender, thats a good option. they're pretty cheap off fleabay/renewed.

Thanks! If I did end up getting 2 of these would they work? And, for moving to a Mesh system, do you have a recommendation? Seems they are expensive but I am not familiar with what I should be looking for - any guidance would be helpful. We live in a large 2 story home with lots of TV’s, gadgets, kids gaming (on things like Nintendo Touch, tablets, pc’s, etc.).
Appreciate your help!

Can you get 2 extenders to work? yes. But mesh mode can create issues/instabilities when ran on the extenders because there isn't anything controlling the system and the extenders can end up connected to each other and not the router. Usually I advise disabling one wifi on one of the extenders so it has a different name from the router. That can help prevent that issue.
If there's a lot of video streaming/gaming, investing in a solid mesh system isn't a bad idea. I'd look for one with a dedicated backhaul (link between router/satellites). The RBK752/753 is a fairly solid system but kind of base model for dedicated backhaul. The 8/9 series are a step up but more expensive.
