Reinstalling a Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Range Extender
I moved to a new address and now have new internet service. My range extender was setup under my old wifi network. I now can't connect it to my new network because all of the instructions say to conn...
Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while the extender is powered on.
That'll get you back to defaults so you can go through setup again.
There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.

I tried resetting the router and now I have a network named ASUS. I tried logging into it using "admin" and "password" to no avail. Everything I can find on the support site tells me to go to their link which I can't do.
Asus wouldn't show up unless your primary router is asus and you're using WPS.
It might just be another network showing up.
Have you tried hardwiring a pc/laptop into the extender and using the installation assistant
