Repeater AX1600 redirects to 192.168.2… when opening a website
Hi, when using Safari on my iPhone, iPad or Mac, I often get redirect to the repeater login screen instead of the website I want to visit. Haven’t seen this when using Chrome, but I only use Chrome rarely…
I couldn’t figure out which website is causing this. It often happens when clicking on a Google ad and googleleadservices.com/…. is redirecting to the landing page but this isn’t the case always. Sometimes it just happens when I enter a URL manually into the address bar and want to open a website. If I wait some minutes and try to open the website again it works perfectly fine.
I thought it might have something to do with Safari‘s build in tracking prevention or the iCloud Private Relay service, so I disabled both but nothing changed.
How can I get rid of this problem? It’s really annoying.

Did you set it up using the push button WPS option?
If so, factory reset the extender and set it up using the installation assistant.
To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
