Reset Nighthawk X6S AC3000 EX8000
Hi,
I changed my router provider and now I can't reset my extender to configure it with the new router. I followed these instructions at [https://kb.netgear.com/000060616/How-do-I-perform-a-factory-reset-on-my-NETGEAR-WiFi-range-extender], but my extender still shows my previous router's settings. I also tried to connect locally (via Ethernet), but the default login/password doesn't work. How can I reset my extender?

Many times I see users try a factory reset and just click the reset button or do it powered off.
PUsh and hold reset for up to 15 seconds while the device is powered on. The lights will change when held long enough

I have essentially the same problem did you ever find a resolution? I was on the line phone with one of their technicians who said if I purchased service they could probably get it rebooted and they also said they wouldn’t charge me if they couldn’t get it rebooted I should’ve taken them up on it now, I have a POS doesn’t work.
