Ripetitore lento
Salve a tutti,

A couple things.
1. LInk speed isn't the same as throughput speed. Your actual throughput speed is usually 55-65% of what the link speed is.
2. wireless repeaters cut throughput in half (for single/dual band devices). They do this because they have to use the same chip to go router----extender and then extender------device and they can't work at the same time. So it cuts the speed in half.
3. Stand where the extender is and test speed directly off your router. Then cut that speed in half. Thats roughly what the extender is going to be putting out. Extenders are great at getting wifi to dead spots but they aren't that great if you've already got wifi coverage to an area.
Again, this is all for single/dual band extenders. The tribands have a dedicated wireless backhaul that preserves a lot of that wireless speed.
