ROUTER EXTENDER EX8000

I CAN T CONNECT MY EXTENDER TO APP OR VIA INTERNET- I DOESNT RECOGNISE THE ROUTER VIA APP  - HOW DO I DO IN ORDER TO SOLVE THIS -

    Have you tried hardwiring in a pc/laptop to the extender for setup?  Just make sure to disable the wifi on whatever device you connect so it doesn't default back to the wifi connection.
