Router red light

Before this everything is okay. But lately, router light on the extender always turn red and the connection is on and off. Another extender on the other part of the house is okay, and if the extend been placed really near to the router is okay. But that’s not the point of having a Wifi extender right? Any ideas or suggestions?

    Visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

Check the section in the manual on troubleshooting.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message, which is thin on useful details that anyone can use to diagnose what is going on and what you might have tried.

You can help people to help you by providing the information suggested in this forum's header:

Subject (Include model number and brief summary)
Model (Recommended - Helps the community give the best answers)
Body (Include additional detail including model version, firmware, OS and environment where relevant.)

They are there for a good reason.

You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Nighthawk WiFi Routers. (This is easily done, given Netgear's impenetrable community structure.)

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers about your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:

WiFi Range Extenders & Nighthawk Mesh - NETGEAR Communities

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.

My extender model is EX3700. Sorry for the earlier introduction of my problem.
