Router's ip address is invalid
Hello, I have a WNR2000 router. I was trying to set it up as a wireless repeater. I was following the instructions in the manual, and eventually I got to the point where I had to set up a new repeater ip address. I set it up as 192.168.1.2
I clicked apply and it was loading the new setting, after about 45 seconds the page failed to load. I going on routerlogin.net, I tried logging onto the router using 192.168.1.2, I tried 192.168.1.1 (Default), I tried 192.168.1.254
Nothing worked. Then I factory reset the router and rebooted my computer. I tried logging onto the router using 192.168.1.1, it didnt work, I tried routerlogin.net, it didn't work. I tried 192.168.1.2, it didn't work. So, now I don't know what to do. I went into cmd prompt and did ipconfig/all, it doesn't show ipv4 address, but, it shows autoconfiguration IPv4 Address 169.254.249.254
I tried 169.254.249.254 into my browser and it didn't log me on to the router.
So, I don't know what else to do to get this working. If anyone can help me that would be much appreciated! If anything is unclear or requires more information please let me know.

- fordemMentorMy suspicion is that you are not succeeding at the factory reset.
