Set Internet Access Times for Different Devices?
I have 2 teens in my household and I would like to have the Internet go off at a certain time every day for their devices without affecting Internet for the several adults in my household. I am looking on Netgear genie for a way to set on/off times for each individual device on my wireless router, but I'm unable to see a way. I was able to do this when I had Century Link, through their website, on my Qwest Router. Is this possible on my Netgear wireless Router? If so, how do I set it up? I am using Mac OS X 10.6.8. We have 2 PC laptops with Windows 7, iPad, Wii Console. Internet is Comcast Cable.
Thanks.

Ok. Thanks. There wasn't a subforum listed for my router model number so I posted here. Looks like my basic router won't handle this application. I'll have to buy a 2nd router and attach it to WNR1000, then unplug it when I want to disconnect my teens from Internet. - jmizoguchiVirtuosoThat is one way to do it but also if there is non encrypted wireless near you he/she can still use that instead... :)
- sdueNoviceTrue. No unprotected networks come up, but he's clever. Looking into the sites you suggested. Thanks.
