Setting up WN3500RP

I am setting up a WN3500RP.  I dont have WPS capability on my router.  I use my wireless network manager and it gives me two options - BelongC87D5D_2GEXT and 5GEXT.  Both ask for a password. I have tried using password and also my wireless password.  Neither work.  I have no idea what it is looking for.  Any suggestions??  The manual I have says it will bring up NETGEAR_EXT (but this never shows If I look for another network and type in NETGEAR_EXT it says cannot find network)
