Sky Q Wifi extender disconnects Netgear
I recently bought a Netgear Nighthawk Range Extender EX7700 to extend my wifi coverage to an internet blackspot in my house I was having some challanges trying to connect, despite following the instructions.
I have a large groud floor area in my house covered by a variety of Sky products. I have a sky router, a Sky Q box, Sky sky mini box in another room (which acts as a booster) and a sky range extender. By trial and error, I unplugged all of the sky devices and attempted to reinstall the Netgear, and it worked. I connected to the internet in my previous blackspot and was happy with a strong connecton.
However, when I plugged all of the Sky products back in it threw me off the internet. Again through trial and error, I located the problem to the Sky Range extender (Sky Q Wireless Booster 2019). Whenever I turn this on at the same time as the Netgear Nighthawk it throws me off the internet. I can use one or the other fine, but not at the same time.
Is there anyway I can get my Netgear Nighthawk EX7700 and Sky range extender to coexist and work concurrently? Both products push the wifi signal to different parts of the house and were bought to work concurrenlty and independently. Currenlty, I need to turn each extender on and off depending on where I am in the house, which is frustrating.
Thanks in advance.
