SSID
I am trying to install a WiFi Range Extender (EX6150v2) and do not know how to give the device a SSID different from my main router. If anyone can help me overcome this obstacle I shall be grateful.

You just need to disable one wifi.
By defaults its enabled during setup. If you're setting up using the installation assistant you can disable it during setup but not if you're using WPS push button method. Either way, you can log into the extender and disable that and give the extender its own ssid.
