Update: I fixed it by using a different browser that enabled me to get to the installation site .. however, the original call I made was a number in the document provided with the device. All good now ... though it took a while

It would be really useful to see a screen shot of the error message.
Reason: modern web browsers are almost frantic about attempts to connect to unencrypted web sites (http rather than https) They display alarming messages, "UNSAFE . Go Back!"
And, to be (sort of) fair, unencrypted internet traffic has the potential to be intercepted along the way and inspected by "bad actors". However, this device exists on your private network, where it is nearly impossible for anyone not working for Mission Impossible (movie franchise) to intercept it. These browsers almost always provide a link, perhaps in tiny print, offering "Advanced Information" or something that will provide an option to, "Go to this web site."
p.s. It would also be useful to know the actual model number of this WiFi extender. AC750 is a marketing description of potential speed, not an actual product number.
