I appreaciate the response...I've been working with tech support since I pruchased the extender and it just doesn't work. I should have returned it immediatly but was giving tech support a chance to resolve the problem...now the window to return has close, and Netgear has closed all my support tickets with out resolution or notification.
No one will return my calls or emails so now I'm left with a $200 piece of junk. I will be reevaluating my technology choices going forward as this is unacceptable technical and customer support. I guess I could also take to social media and make noise about how crappy the customer service is now and how Netgear stole my money...but I was hoping to resolve this a better way.
if anyone from Netgear monitors this forum, please help me understand why case #43675919 & case #42673697 were both closed without resolution?
my advice to anyone reading this is not NOT buy EX7700...and if you expect customer support...don't buy netgear!

You have the EX7700?
What firmware do you have on it?
what router are you connecting it to?
What exact issue are you having? I'm happy to help but need details since I'm not there to see what you're doing/done. And we aren't netgear so we don't have access to your cases.

Plemans...again, appreciate your willingness to help but I am no longer trying to resolve the technical issue with this device...I've already replaced it with one that works. I AM trying to get Netgear to respond to a dissatisfied customer...they've closed my cases and won't respond. there doesn't seem to be away to contact them without a buying additional support (gearhead?) to return a device does not make sense.
if nothing else, maybe my expereince will warn others.
as an aisde...andone one want to buy a barely used EX7700??
