Switching from Extender to AP (Model EX6400)

I have the AC1900 WiFi Extender Essentials Edition (model EX6400). I originally set it up as a Extender which worked well but now I want the AC1900 to be and AP. What I did was connected a Cat5 cab...

I usually re-run setup but if its working as it should, I wouldn't worry about it. 

did you log into its settings page to ensure its running as an access point and not still in extender mode? (shouldn't be an issue)

    I just got in to my settings and it does say Access Point.

    That was a very easy changeover.
