I think their may be a conflicting signal on the channel. However, when I move WN3000RP to what looks like the strongest channel, it seem to automatically become the weak one. Confusing as hell.
If it's only between 30 and 50 that's probably the problem. That's fairly low.
Just move it closer and see how it does. Humor me.
As for the channel, that could also be it, but I kind of doubt it. The extender channel defaults to the same channel(s) as the primary router. I recommend using Inssider (at Metageek) to check for the signal channels in your area. Use the clearest channel of 2, 6, or 11 (just trust me on this, or do research on your own as to why you don't want to use other channels).
