Trouble Connecting WN1000RP to Wireless-N150 ADSL2+Modem Router DGN1000
Just got the WN1000RP today to use in my house to extend wifi reception upstairs in bedroom, so, that we can use a new iPad there with good reception. This is to connect to my wifi network that use...
I suggest you to reset the extender and re-do the option 2 again.
1. Press the reset button until the power LED blinks.
2. After the extender reboots, connect your Mac Pro to NETGEAR_EXT.
3. Go to System Preference > Network and check if it get a proper IP address (should be 192.168.1.x)
4. Open safari, then you should be re-directed to WN1000RP's web GUI page. If not, try http://www.mywifiext.net or http://192.168.1.250.
