un able to re-configure the ex6400

i am trying to re-configure my ex6400 extender. i had configured it before but i changed network. So, i need to delete the old network name and change it to the new network extended name.  i connected the extender to my internet modem and i tried to access it via the wi-fi but it's telling me that i am not connected. i have tried changing the cable - resetting the extender but i am unable to connect.

any suggestions?

    Hello grizz64, 

     

    Please factory reset the extender by pressing on the small black button using a pin for 15+ seconds then join the NETGEAR_EXT wifi network using a phone or laptop. After you connect to the NETGEAR_EXT network with your phone or laptop, browse to www.mywifiext.net and follow the setup instructions.
