Using extender doesn't make any difference | Help

It is down to the wifi clients you have to connect to the best wifi source. Have you tried more than one?
What do you mean by "no difference"? How are you measuring it? Wifi speed? Signal strength?
What do you mean by "same connection as before"?
Not sure that I follow what is happening there.
Is the EX6110 using the same SSID as the router?
In other words, it is hard to diagnose what is going on with so little useful information about your local network.

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
