WAC104 cannot get WPS light on

I don't recognize the method to edit my last reply so post a new one.
After doing the apply (noted above) and losing all connection to the WAC, I took the further step of pressing the WPS buttons on both the router and the WAC. The WPS on the WAC turned on solid and stays that way. However, the WAC still does not respond to pings and loses the logon connection. Going to the router and the local connection table, it shows the first IP address of the WAC to be 192.168.1.133 with the same port MAC. The WAC will not respond to a ping there.
The router does not show a MAC for the WAC's 2.5 or 5 Gig wireless.

I just spent about an hour on hold and another 45 minutes talking to Netgear. The goal is to put a wireless box in the garage and connect the monitor for our solar panels to that wireless box. Previously, a DLink DAP 1665 was working, but evidently died.
Now the netgear representative tells me that this WAC 104 will not do the job. I could not understand the words he said as to why, so I presume I must accept that and try to return this device.
