Sounds like Windows7 / Vista. If it is.. Go to Manage Wireless Networks" link.
Click on the wireless one you have there.. remove it, then re-add it. Make sure it is setup as home or private network. Windows7 can be fussy.. MAke sure you have the correct wireless setting - On the router, use a channel other than 1,6 or 11. If you can run 5GHZ, you should. With all this sais, your wireless may, or, may not run consistently well, in your closet..
For wireless security pick WPA2 - AES. .N wont work with anything but that security setting..
