WGR614v9 and WNR834B bridging options?

Is it possible to bridge these two to make a wireless link between them? I want to use one for a xbox and do not wish to string a cable half way across the house. I know the WNR834B does not have the capabilities (but is there a firmware upgrade that I could use?) to do this, but the WGR614 does. Do both of the routers require the repeater/bridge feature to be able to do it? Im not a novice to computers, but the bridging feature is new territory to me.
