WGR614v9 Dell 986 AIO Printer
Does anyone know if it is possible to connect a Dell 986 printer directly to a WGR614v9? I would like to be able to use the hardware I have to print from my laptop without having to keep my desktop computer up and running.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

- jmizoguchiVirtuosoGo to support.netgear.com and look it up
- idxpiredGuideif ur dell has wireless card, just cnnect w.l, other wise ethernet
- fordemMentorIf the Dell printer does not have an internal network adapter - either wired or wireless - it cannot be connected directly to the WGR614 router.
You can try using a USB print server such as the Netgear PS121 v2 - which may or may not work - it actually depends on the design of the printer and it's drivers - or you can replace the Dell printer with a more modern one that has a network adapter. - coxwkAspirantThanks folks. I'm a little slow on this tech stuff. I didn't know ps was print server. I'm going to give it all a shot and see if I can make it work.
