What’s the best WiFi extender for Nighthawk x6 R8000?

I have an x6 R8000(AC3200) that works great but has a dead spot in the back of the house. I’m thinking of getting the x6S (AC3000) extender to cover the deadspot, extend into the backyard and because it has a few ports, connect it to the TV and PlayStation. Thoughts? It’s Tri-band so will mesh to the 2.4 and both 5Ghz networks I have existing. No need to boost the guest network. Let them eat cake! Is this overkill or a good future proof solution?

                  That would be a great though. You can buy it and set it up with your R8000.
