Where should I place the extender in the house
I just purchased the nighthawk X6 AC2200 extender. I live in a house with two floors and my router is on the ground floor in the front room (living room). There seems to be connectivity problems on the first floor in the back bedroom and on the second floor bedroom.
Where should I place the extender to get the maximum connection ? in the living room, in the first floor bedroom on the back of the house or in the second floor bedroom or eventually in the kitchen, on the ground floor at the back of the house ?
Thank you very much in advance for any help you can give me.
Kind regards

You usually want it midway between where you want coverage and where the router is because the extender still needs a good connection to re-broadcast.
Where should I place my NETGEAR Wi-Fi range extender? | Answer | NETGEAR Support
with that said, try several spots and speed test them. Reason I say this is that things in the walls like hvac, plumbing, tile, etc can all block wifi signals. So sometimes a lateral move or even a little further away can give you better speeds.
