WI-FI Extender Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 Hw to Connect to I-Pad?
Looking for assistance connecting the above unit to my I-Pad.
A bit of background: I usually connect my I-Pad to my camera through my camera's built-in wifi. Then connect to the camera via an app on my I-Pad. (The app can control the camera remotely. I use a Sony A7R). The problem is that the camera's wifi is relatively weak and the range (distance) I can go from the camera to the I-Pad is very limited. I'm trying to increase the range via a wifi extender.
I would like to connect the wifi extender to my I-Pad, then I'll connect my camera to the camera app on the I-Pad. Hopefully with much greater range. (I will hang the wifi extender from my tripod, plugged into a USB port of a battery).
So....any help anyone can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I haven't found much about extending the sony's wifi. you could try watching this video for how they set it up and see if you can replicate it with yours.
