WiFi 5 Extender to WiFi 6 Router
Hello,
My question is simple. Can the Ex8000 work on the new Ax12 WiFi 6 router? And will it work better than the eax80 new extender? I haven’t heard good things about the new extender. Plus the new ax12 WiFi 6 router is a Triband and so is my ex8000 extender. The new eax80 is only a dual band.

Can the EX8000 work with the new wifi 6 routers? Yes. it can. I've hooked it up myself and it worked great with my wifi6 devices.
Is it better than the EAX80? I'm unsure because I don't have one to test with. If I ever get one, I'll be happy to let you know how it compares :)
I do know that I'm a fan of the tri-band devices when setting up an extender situation because they help prevent the throughput hit you take just by using an extender.
