WiFi Extender 5ghz issues AC750 EX3700

I purchased the AC750 WiFi range extender EX3700 to help boost a poor wifi signal.    I have a Sky Q hub router and used the web browser setup rather than the WPS button option. I'm running windows...

Is it only the pc having issues? 

all the other devices work?

    The pc and iphone can both 'see' the 2.4ghz wireless connection but can't access internet through it (says there is no connection).

     

    In addition, the pc can't 'see' the 5ghz connection at all, even though the iphone can connect to and use the 5ghz connection without any issues. 

     

    I have logged into my netgear genie and both 2.4ghz and 5ghz connection status are 'connected'
