WiFi extender ex2700. Won’t accept password for tablets/iPhones etc

Has anyone got the ext network to accept password for iPhones, tablets etc and how? Ext network is working ok, laptop connects automatically. Done a reboot. Password is correct, tried logging in to normal WiFi. But tablets won’t accept password. Help! Thanks
