Usually solid amber means its booting. If you've plugged it in for a couple minutes and you're still getting it, it might have gotten corrupted if it was unplugged during bootup. Here's some steps you can try in order.
1. Reset it. I know you said you did it but hold reset button for 7-10 seconds. I always have to put this step in because some just push the button for a second or 2.
2. A 30/30/30 reset.
- With the unit powered on, press and hold the reset button on back of unit for 30 seconds
- Without releasing the reset button, unplug the unit and hold reset for another 30 seconds
- Plug the unit back in STILL holding the reset button a final 30 seconds
3. You might need to do a tftp procedure if firmware was corrupted. If you have to go this route, make sure to enable tftp within windows. many don't enable tftp and then have issues. make sure to follow the steps exactly. If you have issues you can google videos of people doing it.
